Location DescriptionThe ruins of St Peter's Church can be seen in the Castle Park. The Church was heavily damaged during World War II and is not open to the public.

Castle Park is one of Bristol's newest parks. Sited on an ancient riverside site, with important archaeological remains, Castle Park is the biggest city centre green space with large wooded areas.

Today Castle Park is a quiet place to sit or take a stroll, with great views of the city above the waters of the historic harbour, only a minute's walk from the city bustle. It is also a popular spot for picnics, or a quick al fresco lunchtime sandwich particularly with city workers at lunchtime.
